Why This Site Exists
Hawaii public-record law makes many government records available, but Hawaii County does not have a mainland-style county sheriff roster. A recent arrest may start with the Hawaii Police Department, move to Hawaii Community Correctional Center under the State of Hawaii Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and later appear in eCourt Kokua after a court filing. Sentenced state prisoners may be listed through Hawaii SAVIN/VINELink rather than a county jail page, while federal and immigration custody use separate federal tools. This site gathers those roster, locator, facility, visitation, and request paths in one practical place.
